We procure our Sona Masoori rice from a small landholder farmers collective in the Krishna irrigated lands of Raichur. Our paddy is grown without the help of any synthetic pesticides and herbicides. We age the paddy for 12 months and the resulting raw rice, when cooked, yields thrice the measure of the quantity put in which is about 50% higher than most rice you find in the market. Our brown rice is unpolished and retains essential digestive fiber, which helps reduce the risk of heart disease.
